That's really neat. You can definitely see where it came from.

The Sims has always been influencing Homestuck in its own mysterious ways.

I'd say The Sims/SimCity influences your crazy "what if there were a game lik..." fantasies, which in turn influence Homestuck.

That's an interesting thing DD has.

But what good is it going to do? There are no prototypings for this session.

good shit

Good shit indeed. Sim City music (and by extension certain tracks from Homestuck) have always reminded me of AfroCelt Sound System, which for me is definitely a good thing.

SO indigo archer and purple tyrant are back.

News brought to you by Derm Co. Industries. Maiming and subsequent eldritch healing are at the main lobby and the door to your left, respectively.

Quote from: Chesterton
For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

That's an interesting thing DD has.

But what good is it going to do? There are no prototypings for this session.

Maybe it still has some kind of "endgame threat" combat bonus, even without various weird powers tacked on top?

Or maybe Droog is going to find a way to prototype it somehow.

Maybe it actually reads the prototype data from Skaia itself, rather than the glowy towers on Derse and Prospit, so that when John and Jade pop in the session with their Battlefield in tow, everyone is suddenly going to get First Guardian powers.

Still, no one in the post-scratched except UU (aussming shes even from the post scratch universe) should know that the pre-scratch kids are still alive and going to bust in on the other universe, so unless hes planning to freaking propose to the Imperial Condense or it does grant special powers other then prototypings Droog should have no reason to believe the ring is of any worth.

Does this ring actually do anything?
Like I said, other then granting a lucky prospitian or dersite all the prototypings, we have no idea.

Fitting Droogs style, it might just give him control over the carapaces.

Then /he/ doesn't have to do the work, after all.

Sburban Epicenter

Somebody had to do it.

Sounds kinda decent, actually.
