I almost certainly will never take LE seriously
He is a green gangster pimp who travels through time in a technicolor sarcophagus. I don't think he's meant to be taken seriously.
Exactly. What I feel is that a lot of people don't seem to get what Homestuck REALLY is. Its a very silly story told in a fairly serious manner (If you don't count the gags and blatant (Almost-)meaningless author inserts).

I think he manner of narration is even more ridicolous than the story, if you compare it to other works of fantasy and/ or webcomics.
We-that is, I- just tend to take it both too seriously after reading it for a while.

Silly indeed. You're reading about a kid using a pogo hammer to fight imps with joker hats, and then suddenly there's a flash update and Jack Noir is killing everything and Dream Jade is dead. Mood whiplash everywhere in this bitch.

This isn't even whiplash any more. The collective audience has been snapped by a sudden change in direction so many times our neck has snapped too, and now Hussie's just shaking the corpse.

Stop. Stop it, Hussie. They're already dead.

This being Homestuck, I'm not sure whether that's post-scratch Rose or Vriska with a wig.

Book 2 is released. Not that I'm going to buy it, but it did give me some interesting thoughts.

How the heck is Hussie going to convert Cascade into book form?

So much infodump. I start to dislike Aranea, and she hasn't even done anything yet.
And there was a "lengthy pream8le" that included topics as specific as blood castes? I don't have the strength to look it up. Tell me we didn't have to read it.

I think that was the stuff that got tuned out for us in favor of Dirkshard and Jake squabbling about boners.

Cascade will get its own book. It'll be a pop-up book.

I would buy the shit out of that. Repeatedly. I would gift it to my loved ones, confusing them greatly because it makes no kind of sense without having read the rest of homestuck.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

By the time he gets around the printing Cascade, he could probably put moving holograms in a book anyway.

What the fuck, have a couple stupid jokes I found on TumblrAlso this.

Well, I liked the LOCAH flash so much that I'm trying to recreate it for myself, just as I did with Alterniabound's engine a while ago (both take a little bit to load and don't have a preloader yet).

Also, Book 2 looks like it would be cool to have. I think I'm going to have to purchase the books after Homestuck is finished just so I can share it easily with my friends who would otherwise be reluctant to get into it.

Oh, hey, WhatPumpkin appears to have restocked various things. Finally, more of those damn sufferer necklaces, because I apparently cannot stop throwing money at Andrew Hussie.

I just realized something.

Bards 'Bring about destruction or invite destruction through <Insert Aspect Here>', right?

So a Bard of Mind would be either able to drive his enemies insane, or hit them with mindblasts.

I don't remember that, I only remember hearing about Princes destroying stuff. But I don't read very carefully.
