My initial reaction was that it's Vriska and Tavros trying to reassert their relevance, since the symbols floating over people's heads means they're being controlled by that particular troll.

I guess the Condescension trying to gain control over people and beasts makes sense as well.
Interesting, I hadn't considered that. She's probably too strong-willed for Vriska alone, but if Tavros pulls shenanigans analogous to the Psychic Double Reacharound with Gl'bgolyb, that might result in something.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Dafuq is up with this panel? It seems to imply that she's trying to gain Vriska's mind control and Tavros' mind control, but there's no way that the existence of Tavrisprite isn't somehow involved given how closely they're positioned in the narrative.

Well, those symbols are the telltale sign of Vriska's manipul8tion and Tavros' communion, so that and the text seems to indicate she's giving herself their powers. That's the obvious option, but we can't rule out the possibility of a connection to Tavrisprite since Hussie is an inscrutable and unpredictable bastard.

With this John going through the hell that is being raised by the Condesce and the other going through the apocalypse, the death of his father, his own death twice, and the possibility that one of his friends will die, one thing is clear. Nothing will ever cause John to be anything other than a cheerful little derp.

What I really like about the recent update is that Jake's grandmother purposely changed their last name to English just to spite the Batterwitch.

Jake's grandma was such a bad ass :3

I feel I should warn everyone.

I'm writing fanfiction.

Now I just have to work my ass off before anyone beats me too it.

Good luck, dude. You're going to have to be really fast. Fanficcers all operate on the same frequency, and any fic idea suggested by recent updates is hot fucking property.

Dafuq is up with this panel? It seems to imply that she's trying to gain Vriska's mind control and Tavros' mind control, but there's no way that the existence of Tavrisprite isn't somehow involved given how closely they're positioned in the narrative.

I'm assuming it's the same deal as the sprite prototyping from before... but instead of a ring, the sprite symbols are showing up on the Condesce's tiarra. I think that granting the Condesce Vriska/Tavros' psychic powers was the only reason Gamzee threw the corpses into the sprite... both from a plot perspective, and perhaps a way-more-well-planned-and-nefarious-than-expected Gamzee perspective.

I thought that the Alpha session's ring didn't have any prototyping orbs, and thus prototypings do not effect the wearer?

It might not be a direct effect of the ring though... It seems like a pretty plausible idea to me.
