I can't help but feel that the Condesce isn't all that bright. I mean, trying to force an alien species to mirror yours and being surprised when it fails? You think since she supposedly made contact with lots of species while running the troll empire she would have realized that other species can be very different from the trolls and would not be able to just mirror them like that.
