Just going by the color, it was pretty obvious who was supposed to get thrown into that sprite. John. Jane got her cyan color when she was prototyped, didn't she?

Considering what just happened, we may never know.

I'm just glad Hussie knows we think he's faffing around too much. And I know he's the kind of guy to remember this stuff and try not to fall into it for his next project.

And I don't expect too much from these two. They were just killed off from the main story, left to exist in the parallel meta-existence of people who narrate the story. If they do anything of note it'll probably be becoming narrators for a little bit.

I have no problem with this.

I would bet money Andrew has edited things retroactively, except I can't prove anything because it was edited retroactively.

His next project is recruiting from the massive talent pool he's built, and opening an animation studio. Checkmate.

Vriska and Tavros becoming narrators?  The term "self insert" comes to mind.

While I still think Gamzee's presence in the story had better have the best fucking explanation in the comic, I kinda like how Hussie has managed to condense the joke-cycle.  All of two moves in twenty hours to freak everybody the fuck out, nullify it, and commentate on it with a plot-hook.

But seriously.  Why the fuck is Gamzee there?  Why is he still not-a-joke-anymore?

He was never a joke. That is the joke.

I have no idea what the fuck I am saying.

This being Homestuck, I'm not sure whether that's post-scratch Rose or Vriska with a wig.

Well. I'd figure once we find out how he got Aradia's music boxes then the pieces fall into place. 'Course if it's some thing stupid or inexplicable, I'll be fairly annoyed.
As for why he's not a joke, he doesn't have any sopor pies & Karkats not here to shoosh/pap him into harmless idiocy.

Yes.
So much Yes.

I love everything about this update.  This kind of stuff is exactly why Vriska is my favorite.

Pretty much this.

Oh yes, I agree with you. Here's hoping both of them, and maybe Hussie, performs a Sollux.

At least Tavros got to experience the greatness of almost kind of being Vriska, even for seconds at a time. And I loved the Gamzee "potion" shop.
EDIT: I just checked the TopatoCo store and the SBaHJ shirts are sold out. I don't know if that's surprising or because of the attraction to them by actual hipsters.

I know the new album's been out for a while, but I really like Phantasmic Youngsters. It just makes me happy for some reason. And makes great music for playing in a Minecraft world you've just genned.

Calling it: Dreambubble Vriska is STILL manipulating people through time and dimension to perpetuate her convoluted plans, but this time she intends to plant herself into Dirk's Brobot, and then fashion it after herself.

Ah, exposition. Dirk is releasing his inner Rose.

On the contrary, being her elder, it's more like through the rest of Homestuck Rose is releasing her inner Dirk.

...My god, change one letter and suddenly thousands of fanfictions.

Jake and Dirk is like Act 1 and 2 all over again.  God damn do I miss witty banter.  Especially jokes I completely forgot about.  Just poke around, it's in there.

Oh yeah, and hells of exposition and awkwardity all up in this bitch.  Radical.
