Like... what could happen if Vriska came back? She'd be a better person and live happily ever after? I feel like that ruins the tragedy that's a part of her character, and extends to the whole post-scratch troll race because of it. Their lives have been ruined because their civilization has been forced into being violent and hateful, and Vriska is the reader's personal experience with that. If you bring her back and everyone is happy then that kills it.

True. Her character Arc is pretty finished, and its time to move on. Besides, its more of a bittersweet ending if you read what happened to her in those Photos we saw during that whole Doc Scratch Thing. Its sad that she died, but it was for the best.

I think not. Google searches say that the creators of adventure time are homestuck fans, and that adventure time often has references in homestuck in it.  This is the first I noticed of it.

Nepeta's number one for me, and just on principle.  She never really got as much screentime as the others, and I really don't think she deserved to die.  But there's not really logic in my wish to see her alive, I just do.

But really I'd prefer dead characters to stay dead. Homestuck throws a lot of boundaries out of the window, time shenanigans and stuff, but death losing meaning when story characters can just come back to life anyway isn't particulatly good storytelling in my book.

I'm sorry, this is Homestuck you're reading. Characters dying means absolutely nothing definitive until the story is over. I mean most of the characters have died at least once now, if not more. Except for certain exiles, for some reason.
