That sort of approach to shipping fanfic is one of the main reasons I rarely seek it out, despite my own enthusiasm for it. Even canon ships often suffer from terrible character derailment.

Besides, there is literally no one who writes my favorite ship anyway.

They first met when PS hired somebody to paint a mural on the wall of his office to celebrate ethnic diversity, and Nepeta showed up, being an expert in painting on walls and such...

It took him nearly an hour to explain to the dame that he wasn't trying to ship the different ethnicities, just put them all together in one big group.
