In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Boy, that unctuous film accumulating on Rose's coffee sure has some familiar colors in it.

Does anyone else love how awkward and dopey Dave sounds in person?  All that rambling Internet talk apparently just comes out as disjointed mumbling when he's actually talking.  It's perfect.

Well we always knew that Dave was looking to be cooler than he really was. That was who he was, a kid who was slightly insecure about how people perceived him, and over compensated for it. He failed hard at using his sylladex, despite wanting to seem like a 'pro' and it is a pretty good analogy for his personality.

Dave is still cool. Even if he's crazy and insecure. He's still cooler than everybody else.

Bro/Dirk, on the other hand, is totally confident in his self image. Sad to say, he is the second creepiest character in Homestuck. This is second on a list of creepy characters where a tentacle ghost cat in a princess dress doesn't even register a mention.

It's what I've always liked about him.  The more we get to know Dave, the sadder he gets.  I just think it's funny that he's all mumbly in person.

Oh, yeah, I know the value difference is expected because of the circumstances (I'd guess it is also the case with the other colors, I just didn't check). I meant to say that the hue was closer to Terezi's than Vriska's. At this point I don't think it's worth spoilering anymore, but nobody'd mentioned it when I first made the post.

It's probably an oily sheen. How the hell would Gamzee preserve blood so well for a year/resist drinking it all himself.

Although that is the kind of thinking I try to discourage, so it's a possibility I'm still open too. Murderspree 2010 never ended.

It can't be an oily sheen, Hussie doesn't work in coincidences!
