He became FCG the moment he changed text color.

Also the Battleship/Meteor will arrive in the new session on April 13, 2012.

EDIT: I really hope that there's a flash on 12/21/2012 featuring LE.

The problem with that is that we all already know what it will be. LE will just laugh at us as we attempt to finish the animation despite the Meteors and Zombies trying to kill us.

Edit: So I'm just going to assume that each intermission is going to be an update on the Old kids. I wonder if WV has recovered yet.

I have this striking feeling that Current Karkat is going to be come Future Karkat by the end of this very memo.
Well, Future Karkat is only ten minutes in the future, so you're probably right.

I would laugh if Homestuck turned out to be some great big elaborate summoning ritual that had to achieve levels of meta never before seen so that Hussie could write an unkillable demon into real life. That is real real real life, Not Hussieverse real real life, nor Hussieverse real life, nor Homsetuck real life...

Yes, everybody already knows.

I can't believe I didn't notice the time stamp on the memo.  Well I'm a dope.  And Karkat is crazier than he's ever been.  He's literally just talking to himself.

But hey, at least we'll finally get a definitive answer on how long a ten-minute IM conversation takes in Homestuck Time.

Also the Battleship/Meteor will arrive in the new session on April 13, 2013.

Fixed that for you.

EDIT: I really hope that there's a flash on 12/21/2012 featuring LE.

I wouldn't be surprised by this at all, let us hope.

I'm pretty sure it'll be 2012, since Hussie's been doing a "Make the comic time sync up to real life time" sort of thing, and Homestuck started on April 13, 2009 three years ago.

I think you completely missed the point of my fix.  To spell it out for you: April 13, 2012 is about five weeks from now.  As often as the comic updates, you really think the plot moves that fast?

I did have a question. Couldn't John and Jade get to their destination "faster" if they moved slower? I mean, traveling at near lightspeed, doesn't time slow down on their end, so they're actually waiting alot longer than they have to to get anywhere, despite that from everyone else's perspective, they're moving nigh-instantly?

Not quite sure how relativistic time works.

Even worse, I don't think relativity works that way out there.

Not quite sure how relativistic time works.

The faster you go, the less time travel seems to take from your viewpoint, so it's actually the exact opposite of what you see in the comic.

No time would go slower for them as observed by a third party. So for somebody waiting for them, it would take three years, but for them it would take a lot less, thus they would have aged significantly less then three years worth.
I think the implication is that the trip would go for a lot longer than three years from Beta Earth's point of view, but only three years for them, meaning that were they to get to the Alpha session, then turn around it would take another three years to get back, for a grand total of six years from John and Jade's point of view. However earth itself would have aged a few hundred years in that time.

Except that time and space don't quite work the way they're supposed to, in both the furthest ring and... in hussies office?
