But Cal is Lord English.
Cal is English's ectofather. The cue ball is his ectomother.
Scratch was a fancy living suit that he wore while he was a baby (or something).

I see no reason for Lord English to be sentimental.

Cal has no direct relation to LE; Cal is Scratch's ectofather. Scratch was LE's host, but they're not actually related. LE is a time travelling, interuniversal demon, and thus predates this session entirely (well, as much as is possible with so much WTS).

So what you're saying is that Doc Scratch literally is LE, and that LE wasn't a totally separate entity that just decided to finally bust out of Scratch like a giant bot fly and/or Kool-Aid man? Actually, no, like a bot fly because I imagine LE was like a parasite. Don't remember if the word "parasite" was actually used in canon to describe him though.

I think it's more LE was a fundamental part of Scratch (or the other way around), and Cal is by extension part of LE's genetic makeup (?) in every session that he's destined to appear in.

It's hard to keep track of it all.

Scratch did call himself an impeccable host.

So... InB4 Lord English kills Hussie, starts writing the comic, and runs the last chapter of the story as a hellish character-action-determined-by-reader-submission Adventure Game, with no holds on remaining character death or plot-incompleteness barred?
Nah, surely he won't do that with his Former Vessel/Time Clone/Ectobiological Heir/Son(?) running around in the session.
Who?

...Jake? We really have no idea what Jake's relation to LE, provided it is not another red herring from Hussie, is, but those are possibilities.

Update! Hurray, more Karkat arguing with himself through memo's! That is always hilarious.

Future Karkat is the best Karkat.
Well, except for Even More Future Karkat, that guy is pretty damn entertaining.

I have this striking feeling that Current Karkat is going to be come Future Karkat by the end of this very memo.  I wonder what it's going to be about, he'll apparently wind up more belligerent and contrite in the future than he was when he started this conversation.

I also have a feeling ThreeYearsStuck is going to be the new VeilStuck of fanfics.  C'mon Hussie, tell us what they've been doing for a year.
