That title screen is pretty excellent... never seen that before, but it uses music from the beginning of Act 6 so it can't be that old.

I assume that only happens to galactic civs like the troll empire. A single planet gets a smattering of meteors, which wouldn't kill any other life.

I wonder; if a civ only colonized the nearest stars, within the globular cluster, would they have a different downfall? Does Sburb want to preserve life that hasn't played? Does it care?
