Dirk is the main character of homestuck. He has been all along.

Via my own 'I'm going to read too much into totally irrelevant stuff' method, I've determined that Dirk/ARDirk's plans for Jake are going to crash and burn, foreshadowed by Jake stomping all over a replica of ARDirk, who is itself a replica of Dirk's mental patterns.

But not before Dirk blinds him.

Did anyone else notice that the Queen's Ring had no orbs? It may have been because Her Imperious Condescension wasn't wearing the actual queen's ring, but.... It's interesting to note.
I was under the impression that the orbs only appear after a player has done the first kernel-sprite prototyping. Since no-one has yet, it makes sense that it is orb-less.

The orbs are dark prior to the first prototyping/entry, but they're all there.

Well at least now we know how the people of Derse dress before being prototyped. I like their hats.

I really like how the recent updates have elaborated a bit on how the Incipisphere is before the players enter.  Getting to know about the cultures of Derse and Prospit is really interesting.

So my crundles are staying intact unless they're newly spawned... until they are exposed to anything that isn't at room temperature.  This mostly seems to mean blood, specifically, their own.  Then they go poof very quickly.

Yes, because the "double-guns wink" wasn't totally flirting, followed by dismay over his rejection.  Ok, I might be reading too much into that, but I can't help reading into everything Jake does.

Anyway, I loved the flash, but that could have been from the joy of each recognized callback.  I'm a sucker for those thing.s

Hmm... Now that was the robot after Roxy put it into easy mode.
Auto Responder is sort of irresponsible when it comes to not getting Jake killed by insane Strider bots. I mean I would expect that sort of thing from huge bitch...

Dirk is the main character of homestuck. He has been all along.
The Hussie man has saved his catering to his niche audiences for the longest time-

but that is no more!

Dirk was planned before John was planned.

So I would have to say- he is the main character.
