Why does CD never lead the Midnight Crew? This desperately needs to happen, canonically or in a good fan-made adventure.

Because then HB would have chance at surviving more than three panels, thus ruining the running gag.

He has neither the chutzpah nor the attention span necessary. But that would be entertaining to read.

If HB was leading the midnight crew, all of the kids would've been eaten already.

Or in committed relationships.

Awesome...

Anyway, I was sort of hoping that song would one day be used in an epic beat down between Dave and Dirk... I mean it is called 'Time on my side' after all, sort of a shame that Dave didn't feature at all.

Well that was... Not all that informative?  I don't really know what was going on there, except that Dirk decided he's going to take Derse's agents head on, or something.

I think it was a little too much actual animation, without a lot of animation.  For one thing, Hussie really doesn't know how to convey movement over more than a couple frames.  This was definitely an experiment for him.

At least we now know in general terms what the Prince of Hope does in regards to destroying spirit. He's a terrorist.

Kinda got this feeling too. It's a problem I thought of when thinking about some of the official songs in my head. How do you key good animations to these things, especially with tempos and structures wildly different from the music he has used for other flashes. Although the clouds flash was pretty good while using long periods of time between keyframes, so I dunno. Lessons can probably be learned from this.

I find it funny that he did that with the Hegemonic Brute's head too. You know, Hearts boxcars?

Also yeah, that animation. totally weird, loved the song but the whole thing is definitely a step in a new direction from hussie.

HOLY CRAP JAKE DOESN'T HAVE EYES
We're thinking of this all wrong. Jake is doing everything he has done without eyes. He is completely blind and does what he does with a pair of glasses with eyes painted on to hide his secret. His helmet was built by Jadecestor which directly links with the brain so he can chat with friends. Everything else he just uses his other senses to detect.
