Oh wow, in other news, latest SBHJ brings things to ll new heights of irony. Davesprite has out dome himself this time. Must have something to do with the new type of fanfic popping up with Jade.

Why would you search?

On a random note, I've seen the headcanon that the four sessions are stuck in an unending time loop gaining popularity. It goes like this:

1) Kids fail and scratch
2) Scratch kids succeed and create Alternia's universe, with the Ancestors' session
3) Ancestors fail and scratch
4) Troll kids succeed and create our universe, with the Kids' session
Repeating infinitely.

One of my friends is absolutely adamant about this, and I've decided my opinion on it: it makes a far better headcanon than it actually does a legitimate plot.

Who says it's not?  It might be.  That'd be awesome, so let's hope it is.

Wait. The Imperial Drones... are the same color as Karkat's blood. Maybe that is why he is a mutant? He has the blood color of a drone?

This being Homestuck, I'm not sure whether that's post-scratch Rose or Vriska with a wig.

Le gasp.

I came up with this theory independently. And it makes sense...

Yeah, me too.  I figger it's what's going to happen, and I'm not exactly fond of it.

Yeah, I've considered it. I suppose it depends on whether Hussie's telling a story, or describing a series of events, if you see what I mean. Maybe I'm making an arbitrary distinction, but if it's an unending time loop, then the story can't really go anywhere unless something breaks it, or it's the setup for another story entirely (which seems improbable from Hussie's estimation of the length of the remainder, even accounting for Hussian Panel Relativity).

On the other hand, I honestly can't say that Hussie wouldn't be the sort to write something that basically ends with "Yeah, so that's all the stuff that happened."

I'm pretty tired though so I'm not sure if that makes sense.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

My guess is that this is the instance of the recursion (or whatever) that it gets broken and something actually new happens. Of course, we'll get some existential angst about knowing this has happened a bazillion times before, before someone decides Screw Destiny.

Where's Derse?

I think it's in a wider orbit than Prospit. So we probably can't see it.

I base this idea on WV's chalk doodles.

It is located on the outer rim of the incisisphere, almost bordering the outer ring.

So yes. Wider orbit. [s ]>Jack: Ascend shows this pretty well and I am wondering how the fuck somebody could have forgotten that.

Let's be honest here, Hussie was fully aware of what would happen when he made it so that the only other people they would be near thoughout puberty are a bird and and an old lady.  Plus, thinking about it, Jade might not even know what incest iOh god they're getting to me
