Wow Act 6 is gonna be really short. I suppose he had to balance out the length of act 5 somehow.

I think you misunderstood that answer the same way I did at first. I'm pretty sure he meant Act 6 has already had a little over 100 pages, not that it's only going to be ~100 pages.

The moment the lever was pulled, somebody's pet kitten stepped onto the bridge. I read somewhere that if a cat falls more than 11 stories, it instinctively flares its legs out to increase air resistance. This slows it down enough to stick the landing with relatively minor injuries. In Dwarf Fortress, apparently, cats don't do that.

I think he meant that 500 pages thing. Which I understood to be the approximate time when we'd get to see Bro for the first time.

This monster keeps alternating between looking like crabdad and not looking like him. He's bigger and has a long tail I guess?

Actually now that I think about it, the similar monster on this page is probably affected by the crabsprite prototyping.

Luckily, Jake has some chilled roe cubes on hand to placate the guardian beast.

Dammit, you made me check.  But not inconceivable, surely the guy has run into the giant crabstrosity sharing his island before.

...Why is it huge?

Why is it huge?  Why not?  It might be explained another time, but as it stands can you deny that it's really cool?

Holy crap.
I went downstairs to peel some mandarin oranges, then when I went upstairs I saw that MSPA Notify had John pop up on my screen announcing "UPDATE"
It freaked me out.
