I think I have successfully converted the sole female in my Physics class to Homestuck.

I think that Homestuck right now is spreading sort of like

a cancer.

YEEeahno cancer jokes are bad and I should feel bad.

Bah, I can't even spread Homestuck to ANYONE. No one wants to read something that long (It isn't even long, but they say otherwise.). It was hard enough to get people to play minecraft, now I have to get people to read homestuck.

I am not a spreader, I am a spreadee. So I was mucking about on a Minecraft server here on B12, and it was like people were talking about Homestuck and I was like I AM SO LEFT OUT and I read it. It was so boring and then I went and found some of the music and I was like I AM SO SO SO LEFT OUT and kept going.

I found out about homestuck here in bay12, due to the abundance of the troll avatars here and there. Once I had info that those avatars were related to mspaintadventures, I started reading it, to understand why people liked it so much.

Well, I don't think I've been ripped off by it anyhow.

I got linked to the Imp Strife remix of Showtime (As fight music for a game of Dark Heresy), loved it, searched for Homestuck (Thinking it was a band), found the webcomic, recognised the art style from the picture on Youtube, and decided I had nothing else to do that day, so I could archive binge a Webcomic.

How wrong I was. Two days, with occasional breaks to make tea.

My first exposure to Homestuck was that one Vriska avatar somebody (Karnewarrior?) had at the time. Godhood-Vriska's head from Wake. Or whatever that flash was called. The one where Aradia went god-tier and Tavros got ganked.

I kept seeing this thread pop to the top of the forum, and grow by 20 pages a day. Clicked through the link, and started reading just as John faced off against his first crude ogres. Been addicted ever since :P

Got incredibly drunk one night, and woke up in front of my computer with some random page open, and a sudden uncanny knowledge of a boy who picked things up using a stack.

It was... weird.

This is the best Homestuck discovery story.

Urist Imiknorris, I think. Pretty sure, I remember he had a Vriska once after his Doc Scratch one which I really really want but no he has to be cool and switch avatars every once in a while.

Pretty sure that I had heard about mspaintadventures and Problem Sleuth through TVTropes, and I was all like 'nah".  Then I tried Problem Sleuth later and enjoyed it and then I read Homestuck.

I saw that video where the trolls sang the Double Rainbow song, and I had to find out what the weird grey people were from.

As far as Homestuck IRL goes:
>Wear Sollux shirt for one day
>Acquire 4 friends, 3 of whom are artists
Edit:  Also, went to the first big Washingtonstuck meetup last Sunday.  There were about 50 people there, around 3 of which weren't in any form of costume.  Pretty good turnout for a new Seattle-area group.  I went as Navigator!Sollux, but skipped out on the grey since it seemed like it would be inconvenient.  It ended up raining, so that was probably the right call.

Although DigiPen is something of a nerd magnet, which definitely skewed the results a bit.  Can't walk two feet without hitting a homestuck there.

So my crundles are staying intact unless they're newly spawned... until they are exposed to anything that isn't at room temperature.  This mostly seems to mean blood, specifically, their own.  Then they go poof very quickly.

My first exposure was after weeks of fruitless checking MSPA, after Hussie posted the epilogue of Problem Sleuth, which I'd been following since about the halfway point. I remember feeling really disappointed at the start of Homestuck, like he'd run out of good ideas, and had made some crappily generic story about some Sims clone.

I stuck with it, and was pleasantly surprised.
