Think about that for a minute.  Traffic for a webcomic brought Newgrounds to its knees.

Although it's actually nowhere near that amazing.  According to his Tumblr, Hussie had been talking to Tom Fulp for a while about hosting the monster, and they were in agreement about using Newgrounds high-capacity exclusive server.  However, Tom hadn't gotten back to him in a few days.  Apparently, Hussie panicked (hence his tumblr ranting in the first place), and just tried to throw the whole shebang into the normal open-upload NG server like any other schmo.  As soon as word got around, it went down in flames in a hurry, a few people got it and saved it, uploaded it to YouTube, etc, and Hussie just went for plan B and put it on MU.  It may have choked for a minute, but it was fine then.


By the way, Volume 8 is go, and the whole download is like half a fucking gig.
