Yeah, no gods of Skaia.

Skaia itself is some kind of mystical benevolent force however. Kanaya talks about it here:

Quote
GA: Skaia Was Always The Foil For My Curiosity
GA: But It Only Showed Me What I Needed To See
GA: It Very Much Had The Presence Of Something Sentient
GA: And
GA: Benevolent
GA: But Silent
GA: Not Something To Converse With Or Be Instructed By
GA: Or Anything With An Agenda Beyond Which It Knows To Be Manifest Already
GA: Like A Very Clear Mirror
GA: That Has Everything There Is To See Inside It
GA: But Only Some Things Are Visible At Any Given Moment
GA: I Always Trusted It
GA: And I Dont Trust Gods That Would Eschew Its Light

Still, it shows the existence of an entity of Skaia. One that can converse with the Horrorterrors and is roughly equal in power or positioning to strike a deal. I dunno if it's the God Frog although I won't rule this out. The most acccurate possibility I can think of is the frogs reproductive organ or a being within that, at which point I would prefer whatever thing Hussie has planned for it.

Of course, the existence of the Skaia entity, which it is, raises its own questions about its relationship to the Outer Space Gods.  Namely, there's a theoretically infinite number of singular Skaias floating around the cosmos.  Are they all one collective entity?  If not and they're distinct, are they aware of each other in some way?  Is Skaia really "aware" at all, or is it just a reactive force operating by a plan?

And what exactly are they trying to accomplish?  The completion of their sessions obviously, which means creating a God Frog and the players entering their new universe...  In the cosmology of Homestuck, universes are actively replicating, except that it requires the annihilation of one planet with an intelligent species (and then Sburb shenangans which can easily fail) to produce each new universe.

And meanwhile there's an entity that wants to destroy universes through incredibly complicated and circuitous means.  I always wondered whether Lord English just obliterated game sessions, but now we know he can exist in "real" universes.  And there's still no clue where the Hell Sburb comes from.

Homestuck: Where having frog genitals being approximately equal in power to the Dark Gods of the Outer Ring is not only possible, but plausible within canon.

To be fair, it's a frog which is the universe, but still.

I think Bronies have the easiest time entering this, they are already part of a rabid fandom over something supremely nerdy/embarrassing. They'll fit right in.

And to share other people reading through the story, I present Drunkstuck. It's more of a re-read than a first read thing, but it provides a good summary of the highlights of the story for those that wanted to catch up but didn't feel the commitment to read the whole thing again.

Just don't read the thread. They are just like us, if we were insufferable pricks.

The moral of the story is "Fan-bases are weird".
I like Homestuck alot, but I try desperately not to outwardly reflect this, but yea, being a fan of something is weird it is like a toxin to your critical facilities.

Well, the +10 to char stat is damn nice, but I can't afford the hit to my sanity. I mean seriously, after DF I don't think I can risk dropping that score any more.
