Hussie is writing about Karkancestor?

Everyone prepare for the greatest Shaggy Dog Story of all time. And by greatest I mean most soul-crushingly bleak.

I'm surprised that noone has jumped on the latest update as evidence that Trolls actually have a skeletal system.

I still refuse to entertain the idea that the kids are going to be swapped out with their guardians at the scratch.  I won't give up on them.  They're going to flee their session into outer space and escape elsewhere as the universe is reset.  I stand by the supposition that the group-swap Scratch is talking about already happened on Earth and will be the big reveal at the end of the story.

Nothing will dissuade me from this, except the Hussnastiest Maximum Trolling of the entire story.  I'm not kidding around here, there was never a plot twist or dragging section of narrative that made me think, "eh I'll kick out on this comic, and maybe finish reading it later."  Stealing away the main characters that the reader (i.e. me) have invested in since Day 1 might be what breaks it for me.

I'm surprised that noone has jumped on the latest update as evidence that Trolls actually have a skeletal system.

Of all the bizarre biology they reference in conversation, a lack of skeletons was never one of them.  Heck, they mention bones a couple times.

A guardian swap wouldn't "steal away" the kids. The kids will escape the Scratch and join the post scratch session, that is certain. A guardian swap just means that they will team up with the guardians in that session. The kids will still be around and be a critical part of story, they would just be working with young versions of the guardians instead of copies of themselves. Plus, IMO, having two independent versions of each kid would be kinda boring.

I'd be okay with the kids taking a lesser role.
All the other characters are more interesting anyway (except Kanaya).

Man, now I feel embarrassed. Apparently I was the only one that thought they had exoskeletons, due to being insectoid in nature.

The way I understand it is that these Kids won't cease to exist if they properly escape the universe. Instead they will join the Post-Scratch session with older, potentially somewhat different versions of themselves serving as the guardians of the now young Guardians as the new Kids. So Dave will be Bro's Bro.

HOLY SHIT WHAT WILL BRO'S NAME BE IF HE ISN'T THE BRO ANYMORE.

It might be reader's choice. Since the guardians will be kids and the readers get to suggest the kids' names.

You realize this comic hasn't been suggestion based for months right?

Doesn't mean it won't be the the case in the future.

Also, even if it isn't suggestion based, it sure is WMG based.

I thought we were still allowed to pick names for Kids, though?

AFAIK, yes. Andrew temporarily re-opened the suggestion box for naming the trolls, so he would probably do the same for the guardians.
