At first I was like this is going to be the fanbase being annoying, but then I was like this is pretty well done.

Weird, I always imagined her voice way deeper than that.

Same here; I've always imagined Vriska's voice as anything but high-pitched. I've never found a fan-made voice for her that wasn't, but then again, I've never actually looked.

Well it wouldn't work as well as musical, the meek and hesitant voice is to contrast Audrey's low base voice.
In order for it to be fun to listen to some artistic license has to happen.

Bleh

Just finished reading up on BtSDLB.  I am not feeling so good about how damned shippy it's gotten.  Too much actual ship, not enough ship-teasing.

Also, I sort of feel like there's a lot of Very Special Episode going on.

Not even done with it yet and its possibly too shippy for me.  Though it's hard to say, since I want it to be a story about Eridan getting his matesprit and kismesis.  Plus, I just hate Gamzee so much, so his surgery made me happy.  And I wasn't too happy about Vriska taking such a major role for so long, and she's my favorite troll.  I would have liked her better in the story if she was a background character, with her actions being implied.  And occassionally, there are some really good jokes and that helps keep me interested.

Oh, as for that song, I'm guessing Vriska's high pitched since she's supposed to be a little girl in that song.  Gonna either get back to reading or go to bed now.

And the Coolkid of the Year award goes to...

Von Fawn and Octopimp have all the talent. All of it.

EDIT: This was the runner-up for Aradia's time machine design in the "Make her pay" flash.

I think I ran out of things to link.

EDIT EDIT: NOT YET

Yeah, but I am getting kind of tired of all the commands being so involved in things that were previously funny, and so on.

It feels a bit like the usual fangirl wankery, with everyone getting in unhappy situations endlessly so that they can comfort each other... well-done, certainly, but still wank.

And unfortunately, there's not that much room for the author to go, what-with having escalated things to this point already.  She's stuck with fake-outs and indecision, and the usual stuff you'd see in Shakespeare or, say, your average soap opera.

Anyway, there are definitely things I enjoyed, but somehow I have to say that it just isn't my scene, and that it's becoming less and less so as time goes on.

I'm trying to think of more fan adventures to advertise.

Little Moon Girl is a hand-painted story about a little girl who lives on the moon. She must journey across the solar system, make friends, figure out what happened to Earth and how to solve all the psychological issues that all the planets have developed in Her absence.

Songs we sing is about some kind of legendary epic storyteller person taking on a god to regain her voice and her memory. Something like that, anyway. I haven't actually caught up with it yet, and I don't really know what's going on, but it seems interesting.

Cordless is about a bunch of people with these robotic metal tentacles coming out of their backs. They play Sburb. Not recommended for people who detest fan adventures about people playing Sburb.

Nepetaquest is about Nepeta, about a sweep before her civilization was destroyed by a video game. She's sent on an adventure by Doc Scratch. A number of subplots about fantrolls. Not recommended for people who detest fan adventures about Homestuck characters and fantrolls.

Prequel and Waterworks I already mentioned, but might as well mention again. They are seriously really good.

Vriska's voice, for me, will always be this. I don't know why.

Gray skin, eight-legs-motif, fat, I guess it kind of makes sense.
