Hussie was only doing this "MSPA" thing ironically, and he's gotten bored of it now. There will never be another update. Stay tuned for And It Don't Stop 2: It Keeps Happening.

He really doesn't.  Just let the fans write the rest I'm sure they're perfectly capable by now.

Good lord man, don't even talk like that.  It's too horrifying to contemplate.

Fixed, because someone has to have a really depressed romantic moment and Eridan is the closest we have to an emo kid.

I love Nepeta's glance to the audience, as if she's asking them "Am I really supposed to pity-bucket this guy?"

MY theory, which is obviously superior by way of it being mine, is that every session has an example of THE TUMOR, but in successful world-creating sessions THE TUMOR is benign. In the kids' session, and other doomed sessions, it becomes malignant.
IDE/Theory: Maybe all sessions have Tumors, maybe only some do, but The Tumor doesn't necessarily have to mean game over. What I mean is, it could be cancerous, or it could simply be a malignant abnormal growth on the battlefield. Therefore, a successful session could have a malignant Tumor.

This IDE/Theory partially brought to you by me remembering a quote from this page.
Quote from: Mr. Vanilla Milkshake
Your battlefield is cancerous, and the reckoning will destroy it prematurely regardless.

I have a question that is probably really easy to answer, but as I lack the encyclopedic knowledge of Homestuck that alot of fans have, the detail simply escapes me:

Why doesn't Doc Scratch just kill Snowball himself, if he wants her dead? It's be a rather simple thing for him to do. Actually, why doesn't he personally orchestrate every single event that would lead to his own death, if that's his ultimate goal? You'd think he wouldn't need to manipulate a bunch of 13 year olds, and faux gangsters into doing his dirty work if he's basically both semi-omnipotent and semi-omniscient.

This could be a false memory I made up to justify it for myself, but I think somewhere along the line it was revealed or otherwise mentioned that Doc Scratch cannot kill himself intentionally. Thus, the wraparound plans.

He was made from a puppet and therefore has a tendency towards puppeteering.

As for why he can't kill Snowman himself, beats me. Maybe it's not that simple, for some unrevealed reason. Seems that way anyway.

I think I remember it being said in the comic that the trolls' session was doomed or something.

No, the trolls session was definitely successful. The Trolls themselves were doomed, but their session was fine.
