The best album is Mobius Trip & etc.
This guy has better taste than all of you.

I am incapable of listening to OSTs outside of the thing they were made for.  I'll listen to a game's music, or the music of one of MSPA's flashes, while I'm watching or playing, but I'm not going to listen to any of them while doing something other than playing or watching.

I forgot to mention WSW-Beatdown. It could have been a good song, but holy crap, the musicians need to do something other than remix Beatdown. There must be like 20 remixes :u

Why? I listen to good music whenever :P

This seems like an accurate description.

So apparently we're talking music now?  Cool.  I cannot get into the Mobius Etc. album.  Every song is just weird and unpalatable to me, and I don't like their vocals.  Nothing is in quite the right key.

After going back to listen to it.

Yes Spider8reath.

1:24 - 1:49 Pure. Musical. Sex.

If anyone asks me what Homestuck is, I will direct them to the 4X CORPSESMOOCH COMBO page and watch their head explode >:D

This. I actually used to use a password cheat code thing to access the soundtrack on this one game, and fell asleep to them. DKC3, I think it was. So calming.

Is it just me, or am I the only one that thinks "At the Price of Oblivion" isn't that great of an Album? It has pieces that seem nice enough, but nothing especially 'ear-catching', something grabs my attention and imagination and motivates me to listen to listen again and again, not ad infinitum, but something that I'll happily go back to the website to listen to every now and again. WSW-Beatdown is the closest thing it has to fitting this description, but it gets old fast.

Going by that criterion, AlterniaBound is my favorite, for having the most ear-catching songs in it's collection.

Ear-catching, like eye-catching, but with ears.

I think spider8reath and at the price of oblivion were my favs.

Spider8reath is like sex in my ear, no lie.

ATPB sounded so good at the start... and then it gets to the double bass pedals and i'm like "METLA TIEM" and it just kind of bores me until the end. I think it's worse because I watched the strife update that had that song in it.

I guess I'm the only one that listened to Rumble at the Rink on repeat for a couple of days.

It's true of all the albums, like any collection of albums.  You have a few songs that you love the Hell out of, and a whole bunch of stuff that probably sounded awesome to whoever made it, but comes out as just so much filler.  I think about a quarter of each album is really good, on every album - 6 has quite a few good songs, but it's got like sixty to choose from, Strife is all good, but only one or two are really memorable.

My favorite album is STRIFE. I love all the songs on there.
Next would be Volume 7, then AlterniaBound and Volume 6.

I'm not too fond of MT&HK, really.

The only one on Mobius Trip and co. that I enjoyed was Dawn of Man. The rest are kind of meh.

My favorite is the Felt. I really like several of the albums, and pretty much all of them have at least one or two songs I find truly great, but Felt is the one I can leave on repeat for several hours and not get the slightest bit tired of it.

In your metaphor, I am playing pool with a bunch of time traveling hipsters. They're winning, but no one is keeping score.

I like 90% of the songs on Vol 7.

I don't listen to Mobius Trip.

I like approx. 33% of most of the other albums.

I never listen to the Felt even though it's all acceptable music.

Midnight Crew is still the most badass. 100%.

Besides, nothing beats showing your friend your iPod/zune and having the first song he sees be "Savior of the Dreaming Dead", which is just awesome to even look at, not to mention the badass coverart for Vol 7.

Too bad he isn't as into orchestral electronics or whatever that is.
