slicks name was noir before he was slick.

Noir was never Slick. Spades Slick=trolls' universe, Jack Noir=kids' universe. They're just parallels; they're not the same person.

Karkat went over this before, with his Crash Bandicoot simile. Att the very start of the game, all the Jack Noirs are completely alike(and a wide range of other agents/royalty too). It's the variables the players introduce that decide what they become.

Then there's Bro and Spades Slick's puppet and scotty dog fetishes, Snowman's "use blood for lipstick" thing, and Andrew Hussie's manlove for RRRRRRRUFIOOOOOOO and secret lust for Ms. Paint, and you slowly come to realize that the players, even "honk and KILL SHIT" Gamzee are the sanest, most balanced characters in the story.
