I don't believe Dave has lost his dream self, now that I think about it, so being part of the running stab-a-thon would not be a crippling issue for him. Probably. Unless the plan ended up getting shifted to Dave suicide running to the Sun, but WHAT ARE THE CHANCES OF THAT

Yeah, there's a lot more of that synchronicity and reflection stuff going on.  It's not hard to believe Hussie's next big card is going to be Rose and Dave biting it, to be revived at the cost of a dreamself (and any chance of Godhood) by their counterparts.  Thus putting the kibosh Rose's dream-suicide plan, and adding one more dead Dave to the pile.
