My pet theory right now is that Jade's grandson is her grandfather from the session that is spawned after the reset, where all the kids and their guardians are swapped.

This being Homestuck, I'm not sure whether that's post-scratch Rose or Vriska with a wig.

You mean he's not?  I thought that was the point.

Also this is shockingly close to fitting perfectly.

It perfected the synchs.  All the synchs.  Even the kitchen synch.  Even if it's technically Rose's tune it puts a really good spin on the video.  Which is especially lovely, because I hate Umbral Ultimatum.

I suppose it's feasible that the composer would fit his piece to one of the previous flashes. That sounds like a pretty cool easter egg to leave.

Figured I'd pop in with my tuppence and say I actually really appreciate the whole alternate timeline escapade here - if Vriska was doomed to die anyway as a consequence of the alpha timeline (revealing the hideout being too dangerous) then what we got wasn't being yanked around, it was getting to see Vriska as close to winning as she was ever going to get.  Which was pretty damn awesome.

Too shiny.  Doc Scratch's head is like a hole.  He needs to paint it matte white.
