Does anybody know what the text says? I'm not fluent in daedric.

Strife. Duh. I mean really.

It depends on what classifies as an offshoot timeline and what doesn't. I think the alpha timeline isn't one where the characters continue living, but rather one where the kids and trolls successfully manage to kill Doc Scratch, and bring about Lord English.

Clearly a god tier hoodie.
If all the characters are god-tier, that would explain respawning.

[NEEDLESS ANNOYING SPECULATION]
Scratch is in one of his "dark pockets" at the moment, which means that he is only semi-omnipotent instead of quasi-omnipotent.
This means that he is unaware of Slick's actions. This means that he's about to flip the fuck out.
[/NEEDLESS ANNOYING SPECULATION]
Something I predicted about Homestuck turned out to be not-bullshit.
This has never happened before!

He did see this coming. Reread this page. Scratch knew that Slick was going to burn the place. I don't know why he has an exclamation point, but it isn't because he's surprised by the fire.

That's simply him observing that Slick was setting the place on fire. The entire conversation took him less than a second.

 He types very fast.

I guess you could say he's...

Update. Gotta love Scratch's sense of humor. I hope he doesn't overuse that gag, though. Also, looks like we will finally see what the high powered roll is!
