I'm just dropping in to say everyone should listen to Dawn of Man again. That song is awesome.
This guy knows what's up.

And did Hussie just make his visual callbacks part of the canon universe? Hopefully this line of exposition leads to explaining other trends, like 413 and 612 and why they are important.

And any other callbacks.

Which means, obviously, that SBaHJ is a timeline happening somewhere in paradox space. Somewhere real.

Granted Paradox Space is everything that has and will exist forever, so in some existence it would exist.

Interesting note, after today's updates. This is the series of dream bubbles.

http://mspaintadventures.com/?s=6&p=005473

With a few bonus panels of Aradia, b/c I can.
Anyway, I have no idea if this was edited retroactively, but you can see characters winking out of the dream-dead bubbles post death. As well as a familiar call-forward panel or two.

Discuss.

I don't think anything was edited. It looks about the same as when I read it the first time. What changed?

Nothing.

The sequence is exactly as I remember it.

People fading out included. Which is just from them waking up, not from Jack Noir exploding the whole place.

I don't know if anything changed, the only thing I really remember from the first time is Kanaya's ( ! ) at Terezi's bite marks (if I even noticed those).

Was more of a for reference to the latest panel.

And while I'm at it, some dumb wild guessing.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Srsly tho, god!Vriska apparently dies too. And then un-dies, it would seem.

FAKEEDIT: Waking up from what? Karkat's battered corpse shows up and he was one of Noir's trophies. Noir stole a trophy from... Gamzee? Seems unlikely to me.

Besides, aren't dream bubble unaffected by the flow of time in other universes or something like that?

They were in the dream bubble of an Aradia from an alternate timeline where the trolls were all killed by Gamzee and the HoNk code book was made. This was sent to the alpha timeline where it made doc Scratch. The dead Karkat and Terezi are from a doomed timeline.

Jack killed the alpha Karkat and Terezi, completely different from the ones seen in the dream bubbles.

Then why does the pic of Karkat's and Terezi's blood from the dream bubble sequence match the pic of Karkat's and Terezi's blood when they're at Vriska's feet?

Aren't dream bubble made of memories or projections or whatever? (I'm mostly just pulling this information from memory.)
Vriska wasn't in the dream bubble, so maybe one of the people who did appear in the dream bubble will come by Vriska and Noir's trophies soon.

Then what's the guarantee that we aren't just watching a briefly extended alternate timeline, as I posited earlier? As said, with rose dead both universes are unwinnable and the humans (at least John) are working towards a scratch and (all the stuff I said before). This all started with a coin flip, the same as Terezi giving Dave his god tier lesson. It just seems too simple to have things stand as they are and be the alpha solution, I don't quite buy it yet.

Hussie said he wouldn't try to trick us with alternate timeline shenanigans. He would explicitly state when he would be veering off and wouldn't pull a "Whop killed all the characters in a shacking way, but it was a doomed timeline and the alpha is okay."

And we don't know if Rose is dead for real or not. The plot point of other ways of becoming God Tier is still too juicy to resist.
