He's making an oil slick on the floor, I believe. He is presumably preparing for a fun round of arson.

I think getting the poll system to work will be worse than anything Hussie could possibly do to me.
Spoiler: previous poll (click to show/hide)

Also like, yeah Aqizzar this would be the pretty critical moment that happens a lot in most works of fiction.  Let's see what happens next.

Th-there's still hope guys. At the end this memo Karkat and Terezi reply at the end, and there replies must come after the Critical Event, since when Karkat first learned about the humans, there was only 5:12 left on the countdown to the Critical Event. Scratch said he was only covering up to right before the critical event, so the moment hasn't happened yet. So they have to come back somehow, right? ...right? Please don't let that turn out to be someone impersonating them, please.

I'll point out that Vriska's trek to the reward platform probably wasn't as instantaneous as Doc Scratch made it out to be, so it's perfectly feasible for Karkat and Terezi to post in that memo as Vriska's flying there.

And I would like to repeat what Scratch said here.

Quote
The disc should be ready to run in time to witness the Critical Event, a confluence of thickly interwoven, aconcurrent circumstances which have been meticulously arranged by myself, influenced to a much lesser extent by you, and by an even more negligible degree, our heroes.

The disk will be repaired in time for the Critical Event, so when that happens, we will be using the disk again. Since we are still finding out what's happening through Doc Scratch, the disk isn't ready yet, so the Event hasn't happened yet. And, I doubt Terezi would reply to the memo and waste time reassuring her past self that trolling the humans is a good idea after Vriska leaves, since she knows that Jack will try to use Vriska's trail to find the other trolls. She would probably be using her valuable time to try to save her and the living trolls collective asses. And failing.

So, while you all are freaking out over the death of Best Ship, note that Spades is now pouring....somthing (oil? gasoline? concentrated evil? horrorterror blood?) on Doc Scratch's floor.

Yep, oil. Scratch was telling the truth when he told Rose that his visitor was setting things on fire.

Even so, I may try to transcribe some lyrics down tomorrow just 'cause.
There was a single word(s?) I couldn't understand at all. Other than that, I got everything else down no problem.
Spoiler: Fly lyrics (click to show/hide)

Very nice. Now I want to know Let's All Rock The Heist's few words :P mildly harder to understand.

In other news, WSW- Beatdown and Terezi Owns are my favorites. Beatdown remixes have always been personal favorites, and Terezi... well, just Terezi.

KARKAT NOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I don't care as much about Terezi, but Karkat.... man, that guy just could never catch a break. AND NOW (sans the implementation of some weird plot shit) HE NEVER WILL.

Sheesh, it's sort of like reading the last of the 7 Potter books - EVERYBODY'S DYING EVERYWHERE

As for music, Lifdoff is the best. Spider8reath is a close second.

Sorry.

But I do think he sent the plot to GRRM for revision and he was like "Not enough important characters dying!"
