Why wouldn't someone do karkat? He's literally the easiest of all trolls to cosplay.
That's assuming the cosplayer has hair like his, or if they have long hair that they are willing to cut just for the sake of cosplaying.
My brother actually naturally has Karkat hair but he was being John, so that was that.
I think we can use Homestuck character ratios to better understand convention demographics, and better advance the field of convention-ology

All I know is that there's somebody out there that was cosplaying as John, who looks like a clone of my brother.

A paddle that says YAOI on it? The implications are horrible.
Also I know someone just like that at my school, right down to hosting anime club at 3:15 and the yaoi.

I just realized, guys. Hussie was working on an anniversary flash a couple of months ago. 6/12 is coming up. Vriska is about to fight Jack.

This is going to be awesome.

If that's the case, I expect a sudden change of POV, since I doubt we'd gonna get two weeks of nothing but Vriska and Jack staring at each other angrily.

More buildup, probably. And on the topic of waiting, do you remember when we waited for [S] Wake(the one with MeGaLoVania)? We were watching Vriska sleep for an entire week.

I could stay awake, just to hear you breeeaaathing...

Actually it would explode from the bowling pin going through it.

hOnK. :o)

Anyway, it's going to be two weeks of them screaming at each other while Karkat and Terezi marvel at their "power level" whatever the fuck that is.  Seriously, what's with anime and talking about nebulous quantities like "power?"  How do you measure someone's "power?"
