Why is Jack back on the gateway platform?  Did he get bored after blowing everything else of note up and go back for Skaia?  Was he expecting her?

For that matter, how does he not know where the trolls are?  He omnipotent and near omniscient, AND he can apparently track players by scent.  I guess it's not important, with that glowing trail Vriska left he'll be along to the would-be meteor soon enough.

She isn't noble or heroic. Her adversary isn't a hero. It's impossible by the rules for her to die.

 She is gonna get stabbed immediately and stay a corpse for long enough for Jack to trace her scent to the other trolls and be a huge fuckup.

Well, we don't know if he inherited Bec's ominpotscient-ness or just his space distorting abilities.

I don't think it's ever been stated that Jack's near omniscient. He gained Bec's powers, but Bec did not possess near omniscience, so Jack didn't gain that. As for not tracking them, maybe it's because they were teleported from the platform to the meteor, and didn't leave a scent trail?

I wholeheartedly agree with this, but the stupid optimist in me hopes that some trolls survive the rage of Jackie boy.

 Well, yeah. She would be a corpse for all he knows, and leaves her on the frog platform. She'll get back up and Jack will be off killing her friends. Only Aradia would survive.

I know Karkat said there was a chance they could all meet up once they put their plan into motion, but I don't think he was right about that since the good Doctor said that the trolls don't really know what they're talking about or what's going on.

I think all the trolls are SOL.

 This doesn't even matter how accurate the trolls are. They need time to make a plan. The time they spend making a plan is the time they are not being killed by Jack.

 He doesn't immediately ka-port over there and shows everyone his stabs, he either takes some time to track the scent or Vriska pulls off some bullshit to delay him.

Why would vriska have to delay him? Aradia can timestop jack and she's done with being dead.

I only scanned back a couple pages but I wanted to throw out that at this point I'm with you guys. Death is cheap enough that I expect either a) Feferi, Rose, and all the dead folk come back from horrorterror dreamland or b) through some fantastic meta-joke, the paradox clone thing means post-scratch players can hop back into their own universe as themselves and get to restart.

Also I read through 4 or 5 pages of this thread and no one got into a shipping tirade. It's a breath of fresh air.

Hey, so where exactly are Jack and Vriska? Although Jack's still on the exit platform (with the door drifting off into space), the planet in the background seem more like the Land of Dew and Glass, or the Land of Quartz and Melody.

I'm not so sure about this. After Equius' death, Hussie was very clear -- except for being Hussnasty at the end about it -- that there was perfectly enough reason for him to stay dead within the bounds of the story.

Woah woah hold on, I just figured it out. Vriska you clever bitch.

God tiers can't die unless the death is heroic or just. If Vriska cut asunder, then the death won't be as a martyr or be just because it will only lead Jack to the troll's hideout. Vriska can teleport at will, so wherever she re-spawns she can just pop back to jack to fight again. IDK guys she may actually stand a chance.
