That's actually rather terrifying premonition in there.  Godhood makes you immortal, you can only die if it's heroic or just.  John was saved, because he hadn't done anything heroic enough yet.  Which means, doing the heroic stuff you're supposed to do makes you vulnerable to stabs.  This game is cruel.

I'm pretty worried about that hammer too.  I mean, it's crafted from a broken doomsday device that blew up pretty spectacularly when activated, and John's swinging a hammer with half the thing on it.  It also leaves him open to a really shitty possibility every time he uses it as intended.  Expect a nasty joke at some point.

This being Homestuck, I'm not sure whether that's post-scratch Rose or Vriska with a wig.

I am hopeful that Dream-Rose still exists.
Now, just watch as the Hussie destroyes my hopes. Just. Watch.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that she isn't staying dead either, just kind of annoyed at Hussie for making it ambiguous. Though Scratch expecting a message doesn't mean she's guaranteed to come back. The message could be from a point in Rose's timeline before this whole grimdark fiasco started. They live in separate universes, so their timelines are meaningless to each other. And, as Vriska showed, after a delay realself injuries also affect dreamselves. But the point about how happy John looks is valid. Plus, I doubt even Hussie would just so casually off a character Rose, who we knew from Act 1, permanently like that.

She's still got an extra life, she's fine. The only issue is that she is now in actual, for real, danger.

The only question is who kissed her. :P
