"To lose one's faith in humanity" could also be described as feeling "internet". Internet is a wide range of things. What Ochita is experiencing is "acceptance", which manifests from either "becoming used to it", "giving up", or some combination of both, likely caused by either ample exposure to various forms of internet.

On an unrelated topic, I'm really liking Knife's Edge right now. Yeah, the song from Strife.

I just realized. Why is Equius' dreamself missing his horn and teeth?

Dreamselves are projections of sorts. It's kinda sorta what they view themselves as and what they want to be. It's why Terezi's blind (because that's the way she sees herself and wants to see herself) and why Vriska has her arm and eye (because that's the way she sees herself and wants to see herself).
HOLD ON A SECOND

I'm going to have to disagree with that. I recall hussie saying in a formspring that stuff that happens to one of the character's actual selves happens to their dreamself, just with a delay. You can see this just before Vriska's ascension, which takes place just after make her pay (by the story timeline, not by the comic order).

Vriska's dreamself had her arm and missing eyes, even after she had them blown off.

Something is amiss with that explanation.

(Hint: Hussie just makes dreamself shit up whenever it suits him.)

Just got back from Sakuracon a few hours ago.  Highlights:

6-7 Vriskas
1 Tavros (ran left photo shoot early)
Reenactment of Kanaya kicking ass and taking names
Gamzee <3 Faygo (A bucket was involved)

Also, I hear that an Eridan got to be one of Zapp's new recruits at the Zapp Brannigan's Space Ship of Love panel.  I didn't get to be there myself since seating ran out an hour beforehand.

So my crundles are staying intact unless they're newly spawned... until they are exposed to anything that isn't at room temperature.  This mostly seems to mean blood, specifically, their own.  Then they go poof very quickly.

My God.  A force that could conquer the stars themselves.  Let alone the women of the stars.

Pity the con was one Vriska short.  They could have formed the world's weirdest chorus line.

Physical features are up to how a person views themself when it comes to dreamselves.

Fatal injuries will bleed over with a delay though.
