What Ochita is experiencing is "acceptance", which manifests from either "becoming used to it", "giving up", or some combination of both, likely caused by either ample exposure to various forms of internet.

Dreamselves are projections of sorts. It's kinda sorta what they view themselves as and what they want to be. It's why Terezi's blind (because that's the way she sees herself and wants to see herself) and why Vriska has her arm and eye (because that's the way she sees herself and wants to see herself).

I'm going to have to disagree with that. I recall hussie saying in a formspring that stuff that happens to one of the character's actual selves happens to their dreamself, just with a delay. You can see this just before Vriska's ascension, which takes place just after make her pay (by the story timeline, not by the comic order).

Vriska's dreamself had her arm and missing eyes, even after she had them blown off.

Something is amiss with that explanation.

Just got back from Sakuracon a few hours ago.  Highlights:
