I don't think it's plausible that Vriska could have written that note. Where would she get Gamzee's blood? How could she have gotten her hands on Nepeta's claw? Terezi doesn't know that she hasn't killed Gamzee, obviously, although she really, really should give some more consideration to the possibility of planted evidence. And maybe question some witnesses.

Just how is Terezi planning on bringing Vriska to justice, anyway? She's god tier.

In fact, I'm theorizing that unless Terezi solves the case and accuses her of the correct murder, her killing Vriska won't be just enough, and she'll resurrect.

Let's not kid ourselves here. On the scale of terribleness Vriska probably has all the levels, all of them. If you look at the walls and pretty much every room on this asteroid various trolls are leaving their blood in massive puddles on the ground or spewed across the walls in rather creepy displays and messages. Getting blood of any color is trivial at this point. Continuity is a fuckfest as shown by Terezis glasses, so everybody has access to everything not currently in sight of a living character. She could have come across the unconscious Nepeta before Terezi.

Not too many witnesses to question either. Karkat is, well, Karkat, and most everybody else is a murderer, dead or has no access to a computer. Sollux was knocked out a while ago, so he doesn't have much info on anything going on.

OBJECTION!
All the DEAD trolls (and nepeta) are leaving their blood lying around in easily accessible puddles. Gamzee is bleeding a bit, enough to write a note in his own blood, but not nearly enough to form a pool. Furthermore, there are no glaring continuity errors with Terezi's glasses - She was seen in them when she examined the scene where Gamzee murdered Nepeta and Equius, which was also where he was last seen wearing them. In the Alternian Standoff, he had Equius' shades.

As for the witnesses, Karkat isn't necessarily dead yet; it is as of now uncertain when Gamzee was threatening him with the Warhammer of Zillyhoo. Kanaya also witnessed the murders of Feferi and herself, and presumably knows about Gamzee's insanity, as that she attacked him first before dealing with Vriska and Eridan.

OBJECTION!

While Gamzee didn't have enough blood to form a pool there was enough smeared on the walls to write a small note. Terezis glasses were an example; pointing out the fact that Vriska could have easily gotten Nepetas claw because anything not currently in the possession of a living troll is free access to everyone else.

Karkat is likely too hysterical at the moment(Chose any really) to be a useful witness. Kanaya is an oddball whose motivations and personality are a mystery to us. And note it would be terribly problematic to the investigation to round up all possible witnesses as trolls are wandering everywhere and nobody knows where anybody else is.

Surprisingly, people still think Nepeta's alive for some reason.

Not 'till I see a ":<< DEAD" sign.

Same with Eridans dreamself. I'm still holding out for a god-tier glorious save happening.

Nothing is certain with Hussie. Even for the characters who are "DEAD", they are far from removed from the story.

Yeah, I'm kind of wondering if the four trolls with ancestors we've learned about are going to be alive in some sense, or at the very least ascend--Vriska, Eridan, Gamzee, Terezi.  It'd be kind of sad if the ol' hipster were the only one of the four to kick it for good >_>;;

You guys remember that the afterlife is a real place in this story, right?  That living people can visit.  Populated by every version of everybody who died.  Which means that there's a (possibly bisected) hipster walking around, hopefully but not necessarily coming to terms with what a tool he was.

Also means there's potentially a small army of Dave's kickin' it in the crib.  Cradle to grave even.

She either had her face smashed in, or throat torn out, and both would be fatal. I'm pretty sure DEAD only looms over the recently deceased. Also, both Derse and Prospit were completely destroyed, I'm certain we've seen the last of Eridan and his dreamself. His deadself might make a brief appearance, though.

Yeah, I was going to say: Eridan's character feels so much like a side character that I'm nearly certain we won't see him again in much of a capacity.  He's basically Vriska lite.

Aradia didn't have a dreamself or a quest bed, I guess she will never ascend to the God-Tiers.

Hussie can and has pulled shenanigans with implied stuff. His dreamself could have been sulking somewhere in the Veil, possibly through angel-related shenanigans. Seeing as the magics of the story seem to be tied to outside forces like Rose and the Horrorterrors, and that presumably Eridans planet had been destroyed by the time he got the White Magic, there are angels still out there. There is a glimmer of hope for him yet.
