I have not watched the show it's referencing, but I know what the little frog alien thing is so it's not too obscure. I'll have to assume shenanigans like this go down in that show.

I think it's two different shows... Lum Urusei Yatsura and KeroKero Gunsou.

I KNEW IT. My brother watches the last one all the time, and he hates anime.

The show is fairly kid friendly, in the manga the yellow frog makes all sorts of strange rays and one of them was a gender changing ray and there was a whole chapter about that, and it was all WTF if this wasn't riduclous as all hell I would be kinda creep'd out but whatever, and yea there is another one where the frog turns the sister into a troll thing so they can throw nuts at cause thats a Japanese holiday or something. The point is Japanese manga is weird
and so is much of the homestuck fanbase

Yeah, you throw soybeans out of your house at the beginning of spring so that the demons will leave.  It's called Russhun.

That's kind of weird...

Then again, this is coming from the country where supposed a giant bunny comes and visits your house every spring and leaves behind a basket full of jellybeans and chocolate.
