OK, I'm confused. Why is the trolls basement Chrono Trigger?
It's a room hussie has used in the past as a Easter egg room for troll flashes.
I did not know that. Upon retrospection, I guess it is entirely appropriate for him to use Chrono Trigger though.

Am I the only one who owned a Super Nintendo?  The basement room is from Final Fatnasy 3 6, godddam.

You are not, wished i came earlier to correct them kids. How will they grow if they never played the good rpgs ?

Give them a break, they probably only thought Chrono Trigger because the warping effect was a spell from it.

That, and the graphics look kinda similar.

I wrote Hellishly creepy stories of The Felt If you want to give that a go. I went up until Quarters because there was nothing I could do with him.
Does that mean you're not going to continue?
Sad-Zergling is sad.

... Are there any good Homestuck fanfics folks have to recommend?  I

I thought there was one that was amazing, it swapped and mismatched the blood colours and some personality traits of the characters, and I believe made "candy-red-blooded Aradia/Someone else mix" the main character. Well, I thought it was really good anyways. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

There actually are quite a few good short ones as well, like "Equis's Dream" or whatever it was, where he made a strongbow. That one was simply amazing.

Gryph, I believe you are refering to Red Dead Virgo.

If AH ever divulges Quarters powers (he won't) I will continue it. possibly.

Eh.

More clearly:

I'm looking for a slightly more focused list of fic to slog through.  If you liked it enough to remember it, feel free to send it my way  ::)

Anyway, thanks for all of the recommendations, everyone.

FuzzyZergling previously mentioned Red Dead Virgo, but didn't provide a URL. It's basically a sort of alternate universe where the trolls all have different blood colors (Kanaya, the main character, is bright red), and it explores the effects this has on their personality. The kids are also different. There's also Violetescence, a series about David Lalonde, which is sort of in the same universe (but by a different author), and is very, very heavily influenced by House of Leaves. Both are rather good; I liked them, at least.

Great, now I have to go replay old RPGs all day until I feel like less of a hornses ass. The stairs threw me off. Damn stair sprites man, they're near identical.

They even warned me about the stairs bro.

I owned an NES, and played Dragon Warrior on it. Not Dragon Quest, Dragon WARRIOR.

Now that I think about, having a game spread across two cartridges wouldn't have been too hard to do with a password system...

Not so much a spell as the portal effect for time travel.

He told it to Professor for the felt fanventure.  Mind you, professor hasn't outright said what it is, but there are several hints about it.
