Just look at the plot structure analogy in Rose: Descend. There were a bunch of green curtains for Act 6, and they all lead up to Skaia. Act 7 is probably the epilogue about claiming their prize and ruling their new universe and shippin' and stuff.

I don't think all those green curtains are insignificant divisions. This comic isn't going to end anytime soon.

The Disc 1 / Disc 2 aspect could suggest that this is the "halfway" point of the story, which would be pretty fucking mind blowing.  Or maybe Disc 2 was the main install disc and has much less active-read content.  Or yeah, day 1025, probably.  Hussie will stretch if he has to.

And I just have to say that, considering Dave and Terezi flapping their traps at each other, and then this mini-flash was all we got for the second anniversary, that door-opening sprite was the shittiest animation in the entire comic.

Still rereading. Good lord, I just realized how awesome the rooftop battle between Dave and Bro is. Older brother beats younger brother nearly to death with a PUPPET, on top of a building, while meteors rain down around them. Haven't gotten to that part YET, though. Currently, WV is screwing around with pumpkins and power cells.
