You make us hate Vriska for most of her plotline as an alternatively awesome and cruel manipulator... then, as you're finally gearing up to deliver plot retribution and send the other characters to kill her, you start redeeming her while simultaneously making her 5 times more awesome.

It is my fond hope that I have ruined, or will ruin, comics for everyone else too. Scott McCloud wrote what I am sure is a pretty good book called "Understanding Comics: The Invisible Art". One day I hope to write a book called "Ruining Comics: Forever". It will be a 1000 page book, and every page will simply be a photograph of my face.

 I know for sure it was made the moment the update went live, I mean beforehand. Granted I'm sure there was some fiction about Eridans ancestor as he was the only one who talked about it, but now that the idea is in the public awareness everybody is gonna do it.

Killing angels is what he was supposed to do, and everybody else too.
but no, they didn't help him!

He wants to save Feferi, but she does not do the rational thing and submit to Jack-Noir with Eridian.

As such, he does the right thing in killing her, as well as Kanaya, and in fighting and subdueing Sollux.

When people think he is a douchebag and sucks, the only thing he has done truely wrong, is not summon all of the feudal trolls around him for the death-slaughters against lower classes, killing off Karkat, Sollux, and Aradia.

And also not becoming the hated/pitied/and/or/followed leader, again, which would be fixed by killing off those of weaker blood.

Karkat for being a mutant that took controll. Aradia and Sollux for ushering the apocalypse in together.
Perhaps Nepeta if she discourages Equis from Killing those of lesser blood, and even Terezi if necessary.

Sollux for being incompetant (His late subdue was for consorting with royal blood, and/or jealousy. Far too late to save the game)

As Eridian walks out the door, there is naught he can do but join the more powerful empire, BecNoir.


And thus Eridian was exiled, having failed the troll race. Not even killing the candy-blood who took his rightful place.

He shall be remembered as not living up to the destiny of his peers, lacking proper killing drive at the times when his people needed him most, and just not being a big enough douchebag to up and kill somebody for his own personal gain.

Of course, Feferi was HIGHER-blooded than him, so killing her would still be considered wrong, even by other trolls (as someone else mentioned somewhere, even especially in brutally repressive aristocratic societies, regicide is generally a pretty big deal).

Oh gog. Is there anything Hussie could do to make me hate Vriska more? Seriously. First she is a just plain BAD character, then she is batshit insane, in a way that isn't enjoyable, and now? Now she's going for the "hard exterior, insides that just can't take it anymore" cliche that was never a good way to get sympathy.

Knowing Vriska, she's probably making all this shit up, and is just stalling until BN teleports to the castle and slices him in half, permanantly ending John until Hussie pulls another random revival card out of his ass.

Thing is? This is more likely that Vriska actually meaning it.
