It's hard to keep track of anything if you're reading it casually, I'd imagine.

But yeah, one or two of the trolls' chatlogs had stated all their dream selves were dead.

They also said Aradias dreamself was dead, so I'm assuming they are acting under the assumption that both planets blew up = all dreamselves are dead. Remember that the team is falling apart, so such information isn't exactly free.

 And interesting how Nepeta saw god-tier Aradia when her dreamself died before she ascended. So either time-travel is done as the maid cleans the timeline, she can get into dream-bubbles and help people out or some other thing bluh bluh so many mechanics and callbacks that could be used.

What a waste of a death.  Calling Equius a gag character is bullshit, the consorts are gag characters.  Casey and Mutie are gag characters.  Equius was a successful SBURB player with significant impact on the story and relationships with most of the other characters.  Dammit I have bl00 balls over this anticlimax.

I may be way too invested in this comic.  I liked Equius a lot.

 He kinda was a gag character. He had relationships with other characters in the story and he did help out, but you could omit him and the story would remain functionally the same. The only necessary ones are the ones who have extensively interacted with the kids, and Aradia depending on what Hussie does with her. Heck, none of the trolls were gonna be developed this much in the first place so they are all somewhat expendable, the story was planned without them existing to this degree.
