Any theories on why Tavros' moon is flipped turnways? I imagine some of the people who cannot deal with the loss of a character who is entirely fictional will grasp at straws therein.

Don't their dreamselves sustain their injuries? Or is that only when they're on their quest beds/cocoons/hats?

No, dreamselves are independent bodies, that only have injuries that the characters see as a part of themselves. Like Terezis blindness. Tavros' ans Vriskas on the other hand are (or were) totally uncrippled.

I didn't even notice that before you said it, but I guess he could have flipped his sprite. Feferi had the exact same pose, except the blood was trailing in the other direction.

Dream selves are projections of what the players want themselves to be.   While most dreamselves exhibit only minor differences (such as shoes   that match the color of their text), Tavros's dreamself is able to walk,   and Vriska's dreamself is not missing her arm or Vision Eightfold.   Terezi's dreamself remains blind, as she prefers being blind to being   sighted.
