The truth is that he could go either way. Maybe Terezi teams up with Vriska against Eridan, and Karkat defeats Gamzee by tossing a pie at his face, and no one else gets killed. Maybe all the trolls die. Maybe all the humans die too and Jack wins. It isn't really possible to predict what is going to happen based on prior plot events.
