They've done it with salamanders before, and they survived.

But the salamanders are kind of dumb. They might not have known better.

Too dumb to suffocate? Although, the captchalogue could be filled with water...and knowing....Hussie...yeah, somthing like that seems pretty likely as a hand wave.

Quite.

Although I should add that it seems in-game that characters do not actually need to breathe.

Well, one formspring answer did say that the 'space' of the Incipisphere wasn't really space the way we know it, when asked why characters could breathe and rides through it and stuff.

I know what Sollux should try next.

Captchalogued troll -- Captchalogued human = ???

Greatest idea ever, or greatest idea EVER?

&& or ||?

I've completely forgotten what the difference was. I think && would just give you a troll. || would give you some gray skin and horns.

It seems like Bec Noir is going around destroying just about everything in the Insipisphere, which means that they won't be able to stay on that meteor forever.  I think that the countdown ends when Bec unfreezes, so if that's true they won't have long to hatch the thing and move either it or the asteroid to a safer location.  I'm thinking that they are going to somehow relocate the whole asteroid due to that seed simile.

So my crundles are staying intact unless they're newly spawned... until they are exposed to anything that isn't at room temperature.  This mostly seems to mean blood, specifically, their own.  Then they go poof very quickly.

I'm guessing the meteor makes it to the 4kidz universe.

Frogs.  Why would Frogs ever be the obvious thing to be cloning?  And what is the gene-splicer thing needed for...  Oh right, the consorts, and Rose's little Reptiliomorphic Coven.  That's what the four chambers are for.

And is it just me, or does Kanaya really love to dole out her life story to anyone who will listen?

So the thing is going to take John's illegal contraband, and then Dave's ruby contraband he got from Alternate Dave, and then I guess Rose and Jade will get frogs from their land, and then they'll make, what? The avatar of Bilious Slick?

And is it just me, or does Kanaya really love to dole out her life story to anyone who will listen?

This seems like a conversation Hussie would normally gloss over. It seems like (with Dave and Rose anyway) that this sort of information sharing gets glossed over since they do so much of it with each other or the trolls.

For some reason, probably to answer the question of what those cloning pads do, we get to see this conversation.

Remember a while ago when CJ1145 was mad because he showed Descend to a girl who'd never seen homestuck and somehow a contextless flash with no dialogue didn't turn her on to the series?

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Just show them this image.  No text.  Tell them it's the most important panel in the entire comic.  That'll interest them.

Just make sure when you describe Jade in that outfit, you say Iron Woman Jade.

I can't wait to see where all of this stuff is going.

Now that we know Jade isn't going to do any breeding whatsoever (as in propagating humanity)
it seems like sort of a stretch for Kanaya to try relating to her.

She seems sort of desperate to connect with someone,
since she's relating the creation of countless frogs to the responsibility of single handedly recreating her own race.

Also, Jade's charming disregard for seriousness is astoundingly amazing.
