A LOW BUT FRIENDLY GROWL UNSETTLES YOUR SLUMBER

AND AS THE SOPOR SEEPS FROM YOUR EYES

THEY DETECT A SHARP PAIR OF EARS CUTTING MOONLIGHT

A MYSTERIOUS WOLVEN TONGUE INVITES

This page, but in morse code.

Now this is either one of two things. The ring is either telling him to put it on through his dreams.
...
Or Furry-Jack has found him, and wants the other ring.

Okay Homestuck has officially jumped the shark.

Andrew, use TEXT. Please oh god, please. Use. Text. You're not that good of a writer yet to demand we all open up a second browser and go to an ad-riddled website to covert morse into text.

It doesn't even make sense that WV would dream in morse code.

Blarg, I hope Andrew can... be more practical in the future. But this is a really really shitty update and I hope it's not a sign of things to come.

Don't care about the morse myself. It's nice to see a real dream for once. Lovely stylization going on here.

Wait a second, you consider THIS to be jumping the shark, out of EVERYTHING in Homestuck?

There are like a dozen pages of author insertion. And technically he jumped the shark when he did the arm joke at the beginning. That shark is in space now.

I would bet money Andrew has edited things retroactively, except I can't prove anything because it was edited retroactively.

Dude, googling a translator and then copy and pasting takes only a couple of seconds. And like CoF said, there are plenty of other moments in Homestuck that would qualify as "jumping the shark" way more than having to translate morse to text.

Seriously, I think it jumped the shark with Gamzee's introduction, if not sooner.

At this rate, SBaHJ will end up better than HS.
