Nah, he's doing it on purpose.  He figured out that if he colors anything green everyone will assume it's Lord English.  He's just messing with you now.

Everyone is Lord English, at the end of the story the Medium collapses into a singularity and becomes Lord English.

The screen is broken; everything's just showing up green, except in a few places. Everything on the other side is its normal color.

But this assuredly is going to lead into my favorite moments in Homestuck: authorial insertion.
