Oh fuck, Let me guess:

Gamzee is the Bard of Death.

He gets his ass handed to him with a few other minor characters by BN (Eridan, Kanaya, Equius, Thollukth and Nepeta) but he uses his powers to finally kill BN, after Rose does the suicide mission with Aradia and some others.
