My plan at the moment is to make Act 7 serve as pure wrap up. Perhaps consisting only of several significant animations.

If that is that case, then Act 6 would function as the last "normal" act.

But you know how these things go. Plans can change.

Finally I understand how he can keep the drama going without a single act dedicated to the Final Boss Battle. I figured if Acts 6 and 7 were going to be as long as, say, 4, then he'd have to run out of ways to keep the suspense high and Jack busy and not interfering with the kids. Basically concluding the main struggle over Act 6 seems natural, the way things have been going.
