Hussie missed an opportunity for even more trolling. He should have done this entirely in the new art style that everybody freaked out about.

I am disappointed this thought did not occur to our author.

Probably because everyone's stopped bitching about it. And he isn't trolling us this time, he's showing us PURE AWESOMENESS!

It is interesting that we are so accustomed to the trolling that not trolling is trolling.

It is AH stalling. These panels have no significance or sense whatsoever.

Hopefully.
Everything is signifigant, you should know this by now. We must remain paranoid.

Does anyone even know what trolling is anymore? I think Hussie has mindscrewed us one too many times, I'm not sure of anything anymore.

The significance is that Lord English is Andrew Hussie and that the Homestuck kids are his childhood bullies.

IDEA/THEORY: That really is Lord English, and Andrew Hussie really will ride it into battle against his own characters.

Didn't the Bleach creator mention that he felt like Aizen was using his hypnosis ability through the fourth wall?

Just saying.

Vriska was designed to be a good troll in the purest sense of the word. She gets people legitimately riled up. Both in the story, and even more importantly, outside it. There is no other troll, or really even any other aspect of Homestuck, which generates more debate. This was intentional, and continues to be.

Son of a bitch, Hussie. Son of a bitch.

We play right into his hands by hating Vriska. Son of a bitch.

I'm currently making a nice room for my legendary clerk. I always treat my legendaries with the greatest respect, giving them the best rooms and so on. Although the walls are mostly engraved with pictures of my miner starving to death after he fell down a well, so it's not too cheerful.

We....we have no escape. If we hate Vriska, Hussie wins because she trolled us. If we love Vriska, Hussie wins because he can continue to have her dance across the Moral Event Horizon and force us to justify liking her. That tricky bastard pulled a Xanatos on us.
