I'm more curious how much of this Hussie really had planned "all along", or if at least some of this "Vriska made everyone do everything" business is more of Hussie's negative encouragement.  I don't see this one as being particularly "evil" or whatever anyway, it's just manipulation for manipulation's sake, and a massive contrivance of shit for her to make herself important with.

This does at least explain why Alternia wound up with a city's worth of "exiles", and it's not that surprising, all things considered.  A month is a pretty long time to fuck around with the game.  The better question is, how did she think this convoluted plan, being aware of the human universe for, what, three to six hours, tops?  I think that's the timescale now.

I don't know about a city's worth of 'exiles' because the trolls have five exiles and we haven't seen any other exiles on Alternia. The Felt (With the exception of snowman) were never referred to as exiles anyway.

I give Spades Slick enough credit to believe that the city and casino and crime underworld he always brags about building is inhabited by more than twenty people.  No, we never saw any others, but we never see lots of things.

If you talking about people who contacted the Trolls, yeah, we only saw five.  They're all "exiles", just only some of them do plot-relevant stuff.

While I totally agree, and I hope Hussie finishes getting his jollies soon with this train of thought, let's think about this.  Why did DD hang around Dave's place at just the right time, steal the Meow book, and throw it in the gene-splicer-thing pointed at a dog anyway?  There never was a clear motivation for that rather bizarre chain of events.  Jade's narcolepsy being Vriska's doing, given that Jade was introduced before Hussie even says the Trolls were defined as characters, is a total asspull that I think he did for shits and giggles.  DD making Bec by Vriska's suggestion, he probably had that in mind at the time.
