Well its pretty much stated they are going to be meeting up at some point, so we'll see.

It's going to be really awkward when they meet up, for several reasons. They're definitely going to have to get rid of Lord English and/or Jack (depending on if they're the same or not). But the various romances of the trolls/humans are probably going to be the next-largest problem, assuming they're not cleared up by then.
