I don't believe Bec has been shown to have time-controlling powers. Until Jack displays this ability, I'm seeing Lord English as a different character opposing Jack.

Another thing about Jack != LE is that LE is going to be summoned at the end of the universe. Not 20 hours before the rift.

Okay, what the hell, the last three links to MSPA in this thread seemed to have nothing to do with the context of their post, at least not directly.

He was also going to be summoned, not created.

Diamonds Droog is in the trolls universe, the one in the kids universe is Draconian Dignitary.

Opposing?
LE is traveling with Noir as we speak.
They are not opposing forces. Not yet.

Alright, so can anyone give confirmation that the First Guardians/Lord English are the bad guys? If so, how the hell are they going to be any worse than a freaking omnicidal devilbeastman that is capable of singlehandedly destroying a universe??? 'Cause it seems that that's pretty baseless to even consider.

In fact, I think it's pretty safe to say that LE and his minions will be the kids'/trolls' key to actually standing a chance against this thing. I mean, the evidence is all there in front of us!

Obviously, LE is a third Jack Noir, from a universe where the main prototypings were pool-related. When someone prototyped a kernel with a magic cue ball, he gained the omniscience necessary to invade another universe, from which he killed that session's monarchs and took their rings. He keeps repeating this, breaking into more and more universes to steal their powers, becoming more and more deadly. Ironically (in the colloquial rather than clinical sense), the kid's universe now actually has a faint chance of fighting back by the very act of creating it's own mass murdering, pan-dimensional horror.

Jus' saying.

Why does something tell me that Act Seven will be the entire final boss battle and longer than the entirety of Problem Sleuth?

Because you are sentient enough to extrapolate trends and patterns.  It's hard to believe that the story isn't even two thirds over, numerically or probably even in raw length, and Hussie keeps finding ways to top himself.

Note the ambiguity of who he's referring to about "our" mutant blood.  It applies equally to him, Jack, and John.  It's also strange to see him acting relatively reasonable this early in his timeline, then he turns nasty later, then turns reasonable and obsequious (for Karkat) again after that.  Is it a long-term window into his personality, or is it just Hussie forgetting how to write his personality for the right time after all those recent multi-Karkat memos?

Hussie forgetting
Dohohohoho

Does Karkat even know that the humans all have red blood by this time? It's only his second time talking to them, after all.

EDIT: Also update.
