Damn... I've never correlated Vriska/Harlequin before. Missing one arm and one eye seems a pretty popular trend though... It's possible that Vriska wanted to avert the Bec prototyping and she thought John was doing it, so she made him fall asleep. I mean, none of the kids are near the prototyping so she can't see what's going on there.
